Here discuss about the features of new tool which is use to manage and optimize the Google Business Profile of your business GBP page i.e. - Google Business Profile Growth Manager - Best tool for manage your Google My Business Profile.

What is Google My Business Profile ?

A Google My Business profile allows you to manage your online presence across the Google platform. Once you have created and claimed a Google My Business profile, you can access and edit all the information that appears in your listing - from business hours to location to photo.

Google Business Profile Manager

When Google changed the name from Google My Business to Google Business Profiles, the search company said it would make businesses manage their listings directly in Google Search and Google Maps. But it also said the Google Business Profile Manager tool will remain for larger businesses with multiple locations and will be renamed "Business Profile Manager."

Well, that probably will not be the case. When you sign into Google Business Profile Manager now, even if you manage many locations, you'll get a notice that says, "Starting in early 2022, you will not be able to manage your business here.

Why do you need a Google business profile?

Simple: it helps your business get found in local search results and gives you the opportunity to stand out from your competitors if you invest the time to manage it.

On the one hand, local rankings appear higher than non-local (organic) rankings, as we saw in the previous section.

But equally worth mentioning is the fact that having a Google My Business profile will help you sell your business more directly on the search results page.

For example, in Google search, excerpts from your profile can appear directly on the search results page.

From there, you can access a wealth of valuable information without ever having to click through to the website.

And that means even less friction when it comes to attracting your ideal customer.

There's your contact information, hours of operation, and star rating. And when a customer clicks on your local profile, they get more great information about your business, FAQ, popular times, photos and more.

Let's look at the numbers

The influx of local searches and the ease of using Google's business profile make setting up a profile essential.

But to make this clear, let's look at some statistics.

From January 2020 to July 2020, there was a 61% increase in Google Business Profile calls.

The average business receives 59 actions from their Google Business Profile listing each month, which is about 5% of all listing calls converted to actions.

46% of all Google searches are for local information.

72% of consumers who conducted a local search visited a business within five miles.

97% of people learn more about a local business online than anywhere else.

88% of searches for local businesses via a mobile device call or visit the business within 24 hours.

As you can see, ranking high in local search using Google business profile is one of the best ways for your business to be found online.

How much does Google Business Profile Management cost?

This is a frequently asked question. Prices range from a few hundred dollars to $960+ per month per listing.

On average, you can expect to pay around $500 for basic but serious management services.

However, it would help if you were wary of services that charge far less, as they usually don't include the expertise needed for good placement, nor the services needed to place your business.

Cheaper services don't include the following, for example:

Ongoing Local SEO audits and reports

Monitoring of service area optimization

Reputation management tools, including responses

Link overlaps with competitors (back links)

Multiple fresh images and posts per week

More technical aspects such as ongoing citation creation & NAP optimization

Ongoing FAQ management, etc.

So with cheaper services, you may only be paying for the service to do what you could've done yourself in no time.

Google Reviews

Anyone with a Google account can create a review and rate your business from one to five stars. The ratings will be aggregated and the Google star rating average will be displayed on your GBP page in bright orange text just below your business name.

Respond to every single review

In your Google business profile, access the menu on the left. If you manage multiple locations, click on “Manage Reviews” and then select the location from the drop-down menu. If you only manage one location, click “Reviews” in the left menu. You will then have the option to view and respond to your reviews.

For positive reviews, be sure to thank your customers. Make your responses personal and unique by using the customer’s name and repeating details from their feedback. This is also a good time to include keywords, which we will discuss below.

Negative reviews require a little more tact, but should not be ignored. Take the time to write an appropriate, non-aggressive response that addresses the reviewer’s concerns. Apologize if necessary, and take the conversation offline by offering to contact the reviewer or leaving your phone number.

The benefits of a response

We mentioned earlier that customers rely on reviews to decide where to store. Replies are important, too. In fact, 71% are more likely to visit a business that responds to their online reviews.

Perhaps most importantly, responding to reviews brings with it two important SEO factors.

Responding to reviews leads to an increase in review volume. Considering that reviews make up 15.44% of Local Packs/Finders ranking factors, this means: The more reviews you receive, the greater your chance of improving your local ranking.

Responding to reviews also leads to a higher overall rating. Not only are customers more likely to come into contact with businesses that have better reviews, Google also favors them. Let us perform another search, this time for “best hair salons near me”.
